Killeen Police Department and FBI agents from an office in Waco (FBI SWAT) have responded. ATF agents were also responding. One person has been killed and several injured after a gunman opened fire Wednesday afternoon at Fort Hood, the large military post in Killeen, Texas. The shooter is still on the loose, KCEN-TV reported, and it’s unclear how many people have been shot. At least one person has died, KWTX-TV reported. The gunman is believed to be in the Medical Brigade Building KCEN reported.A mass shooting was perpetrated on the base in 2009 by Muslim terrorist Maj. Nidal Hasan. Bell County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Donnie Adams says the sheriff’s office dispatched deputies and troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety to the nearby Texas Army base. Fort Hood ordered everyone at the base to “shelter in place.” The order was sent Wednesday on the base’s Twitter feed and posted on its Facebook page.
