1). ABC 7 News Sarasota Fl, Sovereign Citizens number in the “hundreds” on the Suncoast. Anyone who thinks the Suncoast is immune to the actions of sovereign citizens is being naive. Those are the words of Bill Warner, a Sarasota private detective whose been aware of the Sovereign Citizen movement for years. “It’s people with a mindset that the government is against its own citizens,” Warner explained. Warner is sad the movement has spilled over into violence twice in the past week, both with a courthouse incident last Friday in Atlanta where Dennis Marx shot a deputy before being shot and killed himself. And then the Sunday shooting of two officers and a Walmart shopper in Las Vegas. He says make no mistake, this is domestic terrorism. “Absolutely, it’s organized through the internet, and Facebook, and that’s how they get bigger an bigger, Bill Warner said.
READ THE FEDERAL REPORTS BELOW ON THESE DANGEROUS DIRTBALLS:
An unidentified FBI employee spent months in talks with Martin Winters of Valrico Fl and wrote that he also talked of shooting tanks of propane gas to kill government agents as they entered his property. The indictments, kept secret until Monday June 16th, 2014, also name Michael Bonta, 49; Jason Swain, 33; Nicholas Hall, 23; James Beebe, 56; and Desiree Beebe, 23. Bonta, like Winters, was charged with crimes related to the homemade destructive devices. The destructive devices — metal tubes designed to fire 12-gauge shotgun shells — were intended to function as booby traps and kill cops, according to a 24-page search warrant affidavit that lays out the government’s case. The others were charged with being felons in possession of firearms and making false statements. Martin Winters plotted to kill cops. Martin Winters talked about shooting government agents in the back, first snagging them with fishhooks that would pop out of air-pressured pipes mounted on the eaves of porches. “Winters will then shoot the agents while they are entangled in the hooks,” Special Agent Ronald Monaco wrote in the affidavit, see more http://www.tampabay.com/news/courts/criminal/valrico-prepper-plotted-confrontation-with-government-agents-fbi-says/2184656
3). ‘This is a Revolution’: Sovereign Citizen Terrorists Kill Cops in Las Vegas as Two Cops Ambushed and Executed Same Plot in Atlanta and Florida. June 8th, 2014..Two Las Vegas police officers and one civilian were shot and killed Sunday when a gun-toting duo went on a killing spree before shooting one another dead in an apparent suicide pact, authorities say. Las Vegas police spokesman Larry Hadfield told The Associated Press that the shooting spree began around 11:30 a.m. Sunday when a man and woman (Jerad Miller and his wife) walked into CiCi’s Pizza restaurant on North Nellis Boulevard and ambushed two officers who were eating lunch. Sheriff Doug Gillespie identified the two officers as Alyn Beck, 42, and Igor Soldo, 32. He said one of the officers was able to fire back at the suspects. The suspects then grabbed the officers’ weapons and ammunition and stormed out of the pizzeria, Assistant Sheriff Kevin McMahill told KVVU Fox 5.
4). Brent Cole, a self-proclaimed “sovereign citizen,” is accused of shooting two law enforcement officers in Northern California last Saturday, June 14th, 2014. According to the Associated Press, Cole was camping in the woods near Nevada City, Calif., when he allegedly got involved in a shootout with a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) ranger and a California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer – See more at: http://www.opposingviews.com/i/society/crime/sovereign-citizen-accused-shooting-blm-ranger-cop-video#sthash.szjBnhPK.dpuf
5). June 6th, 2014…Atlanta GA. A man described by authorities as an anti-government “sovereign citizen” entered a courthouse in suburban Atlanta this morning armed with multiple guns and explosives and opened fire. The man was shot and killed by sheriff’s deputies shortly after wounding one officer in the leg. According to Sheriff Duane Piper, the man, Dennis Marx of Cumming, Ga., drove up to the courthouse in his SUV and emerged from the vehicle with several guns and some explosives, and reportedly wearing a bulletproof vest and a gas mask. As he approached the entrance, he threw out homemade smoke grenades that briefly covered his approach with orange smoke, as well as pepper spray grenades and homemade spike strips. Forsyth County deputy Daniel Rush came out to confront Marx and was shot in the leg. Then, as Marx proceeded into the building, he was met with a hail of gunfire and was killed.
6). August 13th, 2013….Just last year in Las Vegas, Police: Terrorist plot to kidnap, kill cops stopped. LAS VEGAS (AP) — A sting operation stopped a plot to abduct, torture and kill police officers to bring attention to the antiauthority sovereign citizen movement, Las Vegas police said Thursday. David Allen Brutsche and Devon Campbell Newman were arrested at an apartment a few miles off the Vegas Strip before they could carry out a plan to snatch officers, “put them on trial” and execute them in a vacant house, Las Vegas police Lt. James Seebock said. Police identified Brutsche as a six-time convicted felon and child sex offender from California. Authorities did not detail a further criminal background for Newman. Federal authorities regard sovereign citizen extremists as domestic terrorists. Authorities have linked sovereign citizens groups with violent confrontations in recent years, including deadly shootings in Louisiana and Arkansas. Brutsche, 42, and Newman, 67, wanted to draw attention to the group’s rejection of governmental authority, making the case a domestic terror plot, Seebock said. “They were furthering their ‘sovereign citizen’ ideology by committing criminal acts toward law enforcement,” he said.
7). March 14th, 2013 Panhandle Florida…..An armed “sovereign citizen,” accused of printing his own currency and defying government authority, was shot and killed in Florida last weekend after a four-hour standoff with a police SWAT team. Like so many law enforcement encounters with sovereign citizens, the case involving Jeffrey Allen Wright began with a routine traffic stop before quickly escalating. Wright attempted to pay his traffic fine with counterfeit money, then refused to acknowledge courts had jurisdiction over him when additional charges were filed against him. When Santa Rosa County sheriff’s deputies and other officers went to Wright’s home in Navarre, Fla., last Friday night to arrest him on counterfeiting charges, the 55-year-old man barricaded himself in the residence and fired a shot, apparently from an automatic firearm, officials said. Ordered by deputies to come out unarmed, Wright responded, “Come and get me,” according to a press release from the Santa Rose County Sheriff’s Office. When SWAT team members fired tear gas into the second story of the home’s attached garage, Wright began breaking out windows with a handgun, the release said. Moments later, when SWAT officers entered the home, they found Wright sitting at the top of a stairwell. The department’s press release said that Wright raised his pistol and pointed it directly at the SWAT members.
8). Officer Kenyon Youngstrom on left in photo above murdered, (inset-shooter) Christopher Lacy (Claycord.com/Contra Costa Co. Sheriff’s Office). A 36-year-old software engineer who shot and killed a California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer last fall was bipolar and held antigovernment “sovereign citizen” views, an investigation by the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office has concluded. Christopher Lacy’s ideological ties to the sovereign citizen movement, whose adherents generally believe they are immune to federal tax and many criminal laws, were documented with more than 100 interviews and search warrants. But the seven-month investigation failed to determine why he shot CHP Trooper Kenyon Youngstrom on Sept. 4. The trooper was fatally shot at close range moments after stopping Lacy’s vehicle, which had an “obstructed license plate” as it traveled on busy Interstate 680 near Alamo, Calif., the sheriff’s office said in a just-released summary statement. see http://www.salon.com/2013/03/28/cop_killer_tied_to_sovereign_citizen_movement_partner/
